Vermilionville Living History Museum & Folklife Park
Vermilionville is an 18-acre outdoor living history museum and performance venue on the banks of Bayou Vermilion, interpreting the Cajun, Creole, and Native American cultures of the Attakapas Territory from 1765 to 1890. The site features 19 historic and reproduction structures, working craftspeople, and live Cajun and Zydeco music performances on weekends. It's one of the most visited cultural attractions in all of Louisiana, and a natural anchor for group tours of Acadiana.
Charter buses drop off at the main entrance along Fisher Road, with ample space for motorcoaches in the adjacent lot. Confirm current group tour hours and pricing on the Vermilionville website before your visit.
